Amazia Farm is a certified Organic producer of fruits, vegetables and eggs located in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. We are currently recruiting for two seasonal positions to assist us with regular farm operations, from May 15 to September 21.
Two Seasonal Farm Positions
Preference will be given to candidates who possess some understanding of organic/permaculture practices, as well as some experience working in agriculture.
Duties will include but are not limited: sowing, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, packaging, food prep. Experience driving a tractor and running farm equipment is an asset.
Privilege will be given to candidates who demonstrate an understanding or soil and soil management, inputs, as well as consideration for any candidate familiar with the culture of sweet corn
Pay is hourly: $13/hour with a guaranteed increase in June corresponding to the increase of the Provincial minimum wage. Workers can expect wage augmentation based on performance throughout the season.
